Position: Market Analyst

Department: Marketing

Report to: Marketing Manager

Responsibility:

Responsible for designing and setting up market intelligence database with collaboration of peers or third party consultants

Conduct data collection and market survey to evaluate business operating environment and industry landscape to define potential opportunities and provide support for the Group’s China strategy

Set up and produce monthly reports on industry, market, regulatory and competitors, which are circulated throughout the group and used by all level of management, including Executive Committee Meetings

Conduct in-depth market and company due diligence investigation and analysis to support investment decision making; Design and organize field researches on target markets or companies when necessary

Operation of Product Information Management (PIM) system with support from headquarter team, and ensure on-time CN catalog production and distribution.

Responsible for Digital Marketing Initiatives including SEM, EDM, website maintenance and upgrade

Skills:

must have excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients.

must be familiar with advanced statistical analysis and research methodologies, along with common computer programs (such as PowerPoint, Word and Excel), online survey tools (such as ConfirmIt and Survent) and syndicated data sources.

time management, critical thinking and problem solving skills to complete marketing research in a timely, precise manner.

Experience:

Above 3 years market analysis experience in multinational industrial company or consulting firm.

Education

a bachelor’s degree or master degree in economics or a related field, along with job-related experience.

Coursework should concentrate on economics, marketing, mathematics, research and statistics.

Language:

Must excellent English in written and speaking.

German is plus.
